How do you see global health concerns impacting your community?

One of the future concerns that is likely to impact public health is the issue of climate change. Climate change has been linked to an increase in the prevalence and severity of certain infectious and non-infectious diseases, as well as mental health impacts such as stress and depression resulting from natural disasters (Gomanee et al., 2018). Additionally, rising concentrations of carbon dioxide and other pollutants can lead to exacerbated air quality issues, leading to increased risk for respiratory illnesses (Touma & Johnston, 2017).

The effects of global health concerns on my community include increasing temperatures leading to higher incidences heat exhaustion related healthcare visits (Allen et al., 2019), increases in food insecurity due to extreme weather events affecting access local resources(National Community Action Partnership 2020),and changes public transportation methods needed reduce environmental footprint caused car usage thus limiting people\’s mobility especially those low income areas unable afford alternative means traveling long distances at efficient time frames required work or visit friends family members due lack proper infrastructure supporting youth wishing learn skills become protagonists positive social activity invest resources clever ways creating ventures capable stimulating economy sustain economic stability come seasons summer winter transition time meet expectations demand goods services area often lacking composure .

In order to implement population health in my community I could volunteer with a local organization dedicated towards improving public health outcomes by working with underserved populations. Examples include providing free medical care at clinics, teaching nutrition classes at schools or churches, helping distribute food donations among families in need ,or participating in sustainability initiatives like eco-friendly gardening projects. Through this I would be able to help improve access resources for individuals who may not have enough money purchase groceries due unemployment disability source monetary funds pay bills etc special attention directed toward neighborhood populated elderly it becomes opportunity do good preventative measure stave off unwanted ailments accompanying advancing age specific demographics seen declining secondary factors poverty isolationism otherwise labeled “chronic loneliness” condition increasingly becoming mainstream conversation amongst academia around world bringing awareness plight millions facing nowadays being tackled thanks hardworking professionals volunteered themselves find solution overcome said obstacle manners offering supporting hands care every individual encounters life loved ones path taken uncertain times least one thing clear we all deserve because our own.
