Progress Note: Client family was seen for their fourth therapy session. The treatment modality used is cognitive-behavioral therapy and it appears to be an effective approach for helping the family understand and address their issues. Progress has been made toward the mutually agreed upon client goals, as outlined in the treatment plan, but there have been some modifications made due to lack of progress in certain areas. Clinical impressions show that the client family is making strides towards understanding each other’s perspectives and starting to empathize with one another’s views on various topics discussed during sessions. Relevant psychosocial information or changes since original assessment include a move to a new house/apartment, change of job by both parents, additional stressors related to schooling during pandemic times affecting motivations levels. Also no safety issues reported at this time.
