- High-risk expecting mother educator. I advise first-time mothers who are engaging in harmful behaviors for their child and/or themselves to learn more about the developing process of their unborn child. The various stages of developmental process, including prenatal, would be discussed with the mother. I’d discuss them, as well as the two trimesters. This is when organ development is at its most crucial. Second trimester is when the baby becomes active and responsive. Third trimester is when the baby is rapidly growing and ready for birth. Some behaviors can have negative consequences on the child’s development, like smoking and drinking alcohol. However, healthy behavior, like proper nutrition and regular prenatal care, can have positive effects on the child’s development.
- Information processing methods for cognitive development are concerned with how people process, store, retrieve, and use information. This is a difference from Vygotsky and Piaget in that it focuses on cognitive processes, not the stages.
