For the Course Project in Business, students must select, create and analyze a comprehensive business plan for their new sole proprietorship. This project has three sections. Each section is due on a separate week. It is encouraged that students choose a business that is brand new, and could be run as a sole proprietorship within their local community. Students can choose from a variety of businesses, including a coffee shop or food truck. An executive summary and table of contents should accompany the final project. They will also include information about business concept, industry analysis and regulation, legal review, market segmentation, value proposition and pricing strategies, daily operations, equipment and technology plans, how to use funds, forecasts, breakevens, future and globalization. Final project must be professionally written and be free from spelling or grammar mistakes. It should also be up-to-date with all changes made along the journey.
