Problem Statement:
Crime and society is a significant problem faced by the justice system. The problem of crime is multifaceted and has many implications for both individuals and society as a whole. It is estimated that crime costs the United States billions of dollars each year in lost productivity and increased healthcare and legal expenses. Furthermore, crime has a detrimental impact on the psychological and physical well-being of its victims. This paper will examine the social problem of crime and society, including the scope and consequences of the problem and society’s responses to it.
