The United Nations, an international organization, is recognized for its purpose to foster peace and security among its members. It promotes peace and coexistence between its members by solving any conflict that might arise within or outside their borders. The United Nations is also involved in improving the lives of the impoverished, decreasing hunger-related fatalities and illiteracy, and promoting citizen freedom (Bebbington & Unerman, 2018). In terms of international relations, the United Nations was established in 1945. Its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), aim to establish a Blue Economy on www.un.org by increasing security, health, and pollution among members. The organization’s primary functions are carried out through six main bodies (Weiß, 2016). The General Assembly, Economic and Social Council and International Court of Justice are the six major bodies.
The principal organs of the United Nations participate in all facets of the organization’s management among its approximately 193 member states (Conforti & Focarelli, 2016). The Security Council, the United Nations’ strongest body, is its most important. It also fosters talent, encourages creativity and invents, as well as preserving cultural heritage and culture. It provides updates about its main activities, and the website can be used by both children and adults. Some acronyms give access to other organization-affiliated websites.
