I was very proud of my performance at the RHIA Mock Exams. To achieve my goals, I have to make improvements in certain areas. I learned my weaknesses through the practice test results. My competences in Information Protection, Analytics and Data Use as well as Informatics were revealed. Also, I found that Revenue Management was a weak area. I therefore devised strategies to increase my efficiency in the Revenue Management area. The first step to improving my performance is reviewing the Revenue Management course textbook. The ability to reread difficult sections in the text improves understanding, which leads to better performance on future exams (Guerrasio 2017).
The next step is to review the Revenue Management-related discussions questions and assignments. Reviewing class assignments enables students to apply topics presented in class and reinforces the material of the textbook (Quinn & Peters, 2017). Final stage: I will practice RHIA questions that are relevant to my weak areas. Practice RHIA questions will help me to get familiar with what kind of questions the exam board asks. Furthermore, this will allow me to understand how Revenue Management related inquiries are treated. This knowledge will help me answer questions about these topics with confidence and speed. Self-confidence in tests increases your chances of succeeding (Thomas and al., 2017). Because I struggled to complete many questions on the exam, my speed was one factor in my failure in Revenue Management. These procedures will allow me to better understand and perform on future examinations.
