All of the vices mentioned in Mark 7-22-22 (sexual immorality and theft, murder, deceit) can be linked to internet risks. Online sexual predators, for example can make use of anonymity on the internet to commit sexual immorality or potentially cause harm to others. Online fraudsters can use the internet to steal and spread deceitful information.

Organizations should have clearly defined policies that define acceptable online conduct and what the consequences are for those who violate them. This will help protect workers from such risks. Employees must be taught how to identify and avoid online dangers, including being wary of emails from suspicious sources or sites.
