Problem
Tailgating can be described as a violation of security where unauthorized people gain access to restricted places without the right pass. An authorized person assists a person wearing a tag, or access tags to get through technological or physical checkpoints. It is illegal and not permitted for other people to join the activities, even though they are conducted only in the presence of an authorized individual. However, organizations may legally permit the practice in service delivery (Kannamma & Bhargavi, 2020). In such cases, it is possible to violate the most fundamental security principle of access. It could be that the requested authorities do not have permission. Verdant Corporation, a Florida-based company that handles financial transactions, has implemented security measures, such as the use of an access user card, to safeguard the confidentiality and privacy of its operations (Reddy, Mahadev, Achyuth, & Nageswaran, 2018). Tailgating is a major problem on this course. These restricted locations are often accessed by employees. This can lead to unauthorized persons, including family and friends. It also weakens the security system’s effectiveness.
Project
The project involves installing motion sensors and detectors to detect illegal entry attempts to the premises. The business might use motion detectors and detectors to identify all persons who enter the premises. This may be accomplished by installing CCTV cameras at all entrance points and assigning a security guard to monitor the images, therefore guaranteeing that all persons entering the premises are screened to confirm that they have authority (Reddy, Mahadev, Achyuth, & Nageswaran, 2018). This technology allows you to identify who is trying to get in through each entrance point. With the help of cameras and photos, you can verify if the security measures have been breached.
