Informatics
Informatics is used to provide the best possible treatment to patients, by helping to identify trends in patient diagnoses. Informatics allows visualization of patient symptoms and optimizes patient care. The healthcare sector has been able to improve the delivery of healthcare services by using big data. Informatics allows nurses to use data analytics to help them make informed decisions about a patient’s condition (Yoder Wise and co., 2019, 2019). Data-supported medical decisions can improve patient outcomes. CHPSO (2021), identifies AHRQ (Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality) as one the most patient-safety-focused organizations. American Society for Healthcare Risk Management, (ASHRM), promotes innovative and efficient techniques as well as industry leadership in order to ensure patient safety.
