Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration, a U.S. Department of Health and Human Services agency, is charged with solving the mental and financial problems of various U.S. citizens. This department is subject to federal regulations due to increasing numbers of cases requiring mental health treatment. Many victims of mental illnesses are often poor and unable to pay for necessary treatments. The SAMHSA organizational plan and audit can be used to help formulate financial and organizational programs that will promote a healthy society. In 1992, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration(SAMHSA), was founded to improve research and efficiency in the provision of information on mental illness. It is the national agency responsible for public health and promotes corrective behaviour, in particular among individuals with mental illness. Its primary responsibility is to make people living with substance and brain disorders more comfortable for their loved ones (Kettner and colleagues, 2008). As the biggest obstacle to mental disorders, it focuses its efforts on providing funding for service improvement and recovery. SAMHSA is a forum for public organizations. It aims to offer leadership and financial resources, including programs, policies, information, funds from the state, personnel, and funding, in order to prevent mental and substance abuse disorders. (La Frontera, Inc. N.D.). Focusing on victims and encouraging effective recovery processes to improve public and community health. Under the supervision of the federal government. The program was a success because of the contributions made by both the private and public sectors.
