A strategy for transformational leadership is one that changes the values, hopes, and ideals of others to help them transcend egoism. In Appendix A we see that the leadership strategy consists of four elements: idealized influence (mentorship), inciting motivation (demonstrating an energized possible), and intellectual stimulation. It is essential to pay attention to the individual needs of each employee. Transactional leadership, on the other hand, is a management leadership style that stresses organization, oversight, and performance (Berkovich & Eyal, 2021). The strategy includes two components: setting goals and paying for them. Monitoring performance is the second component. This allows you to take corrective actions in case of inequalities.
This type of leadership relies on leaders adapting their approach and behaviors to the needs of followers. This type of leadership involves staff commitment, submissive behavior and relational behaviour. Situational leadership strategies are only as effective if they have the three elements mentioned. The elements facilitate openness between followers and leaders as well as autonomy and competence in subordinate decision-making (Jain & Luhar, 2021). Situational leaders are successful as they try to understand the traits of their followers and determine the best leadership style.
Personal leadership technique
The best strategy to inspire people and help them achieve their goals is to adopt a current one. Leadership should clearly articulate and communicate the company’s vision. It must also consider the important aspects of transactional management, which is essential to increase employee satisfaction. The Appendix shows that a transformative leader must possess the following essential elements to ensure organizational commitment and work satisfaction. Malik et al. Malik and colleagues (2017) compare the effectiveness of transformational leadership against other styles. The conclusion is that transformative leaders communicate more information which in turn drives more employee participation. Through their visionary influence and inspirational motivation, transformative leaders might help colleagues be more dedicated to their work by establishing clear goals.
The importance of transformational leadership in employee engagement is critical for any organizational interaction (see Appendix B). Employee loyalty is fueled by the characteristics of transformative leadership, which include being role models and rewarding employees, as well as having charm and enhanced cognitive abilities. (Malik and colleagues, 2017). Transformative leadership is crucial for creativity and motivation. Transformational leadership is a common practice in modern businesses. It influences both the behavior and performance of employees as well as the overall organization.
Communication Mode
The most successful communication strategies for improving organizational performance are used by democratic leaders. Appendix A shows that democratic leaders communicate more effectively than their laissez-faire and authoritarian counterparts. Because it encourages employees to participate in setting goals and systems, democratic communication can be effective. In this approach, a democratic leader assumes that workers are incapable of making fair judgments (Johnson & Hackman, 2018). These leaders encourage employees to contribute to company growth. A two-way communication system that allows for open discussion is essential to effective communication.
