Foundation of Violence Women are subject to a range of forms of violence due to the discrimination they face in society because of perceived inferiority. Violence against women within intimate and domestic relationships creates an unequal power dynamic between men and women of any culture. (Bearne 2002). It is clear that men want to maintain control over women and make them feel inferior. You can use a variety of approaches to analyze violence against women. This structural view does not focus on victim or abuser characteristics. Gender power, the framework for violence against women that permeates all aspects of society, even intimate relationships, is what underpins the entire social order (CBC Radio 2016). This independent examination looks at the victim’s education, social and economic standing as well as any other factors that can impact their life as well as those of their aggressors. System theory provides an alternative perspective to violence against women. It examines each family’s unique imbalances. Finally, violence against women can be considered a biological phenomenon that is influenced by many social factors. Chandler and colleagues (2018) state that domestic violence is determined by the interaction of the victim with the attacker (Chandler, et al.). These variables include religion and the physical state of the victim, like a handicap or innate addiction.
Domestic violence
There are many ways domestic violence against women differs from other violent crimes. A woman may be considered an aggressor if she has had a relationship with another person, such as a male friend or a partner in a domestic dispute. They are reluctant to report this violence to police because it often happens within their home. This is due to two main reasons: the woman’s indifference for the circumstances and the fear of being abused by her partners. Women often feel that it is futile to report abuse because they fear being judged and even reprimanded by their partners. Women may be discouraged from reporting abuse if they have children living in their home. A violent, abusive relationship with a woman can lead to a normal way of living for her and her husband. The male who has committed a violent offense against the woman will initially beg for pardon.
