The majority of companies have found that technology has made their operations easier. Technology has rehabilitated company processes. Cloud computing involves the use of cloud-based services, such as storage, software, and servers (Olokunde 27). Cloud computing services can be accessed via many Internet service providers. Cloud computing has enabled companies to adopt virtual programs, such as e–conferencing, internet advertising, e–payment and e–storage.
First, we will be discussing the significance of Infrastructure as a Service. IaaS provides internet users with a way to store, network, process, and operate computer hardware. IaaS is a service that allows the user to control and manage their own infrastructure. OrangeHRM is an example IaaS. It is used frequently to ensure that managers and workers have access to the most important information. OrangeHRM software is an HRIS that provides many HR services such as staff resourcing, analysis of people metrics and employee support programs. IaaS helped me gain better work-life balance by allowing me to access employee wellness programs.
Cloud computing has also introduced platform as a service, which is changing the way consumers and businesses access virtualized services and information. PaaS allows the company to streamline its operations while increasing information access. It is simple and inexpensive. Rittinghouse (331) says that PaaS allows many users access similar information. Google App Engine is a prime example of PaaS. A majority of software developed by companies is uploaded to Google App engine. This allows many users to access the code. Google offers a great platform for everyday transactions like sending emails using Gmail and paying with Google-pay. It also allows you to surf with Google’s browser, track activities with GPS, sign in to various websites, and even send emails via Gmail.
