b. NCADV (2021) estimates that approximately 20 people are subject to physical abuse each minute in America. The survey found that 33% of women have experienced physical abuse from their partners, while 25% of men have.
C. A restitution program holds criminals partially or fully liable for damages suffered by victims due to the crime.
b. Restitution refers to paying victims out-of pocket costs that are directly connected with the offense.
b. The victim’s needs should be met by a good strategy for restitution.

Resolving the problems of crime victims
I. For victims to be able to overcome crime-related stress, they need support. Safety, access, information, assistance, continuity, and a voice are the primary requirements of crime victims (Doerner & Lab, 2017).
A. Empowering victims i. Establishing intimate partner abuse victim aid programs
b. Reacting respectfully and in an equal manner to all victims. Services should be culturally and linguistically appropriate
c. To provide victims with seamless support services. i. All victims should have legal representation, regardless of playing ability.
ii. Coordination victim aid services within the legal system
d. To ensure the continued existence of victim advocate groups and education programs
Encourage multistakeholder cooperation to address IPV by using resources
ii. Initiate an inter-agency process to enable victims to receive timely case status updates. e. Encourage victims to tell their stories to help in recovery
i. Use technology for stakeholder communication
ii. Create shared victim information systems. f. Include victims in the policy formulation. Assist victims with their concerns during the creation and implementation of policy.
ii. Ensure that victims, particularly those who fear their perpetrators, have access to information and the chance to weigh in on key choices (Vasquez & Houston-Kolnik, 2017).
