In many cases, art isn’t considered to be one of mankind’s characteristics. An examination of Leonardo da Vinci’s “Mona Lisa” and Rembrandt Van Rijn’s “Aristotle With the Bust of Homer” has shown that these objects are paintings. This is because they help to examine some of the factors that can establish the link between art and human experience. Art is generally considered part of the inanimate object category. The experiences of both types of painting reveal a lot about how art is connected to mankind.
Theme
This situation is similar to the topic of the need for humanity appreciation. In Da Vinci’s art, the Mona Lisa smiles is what you see. The human facial expression is a sign that a person enjoys the actions of other members of society. This is not the case for Rijn’s. Aristotle appreciates Homer’s contributions to poetry. There is a sense of reciprocity in this example. This is the ability to show gratitude for compassionate actions. This ability to be thankful dispels the notion that humans are always appreciative for the achievements of others.
Personal Lesson
The painting’s subjects taught me lessons about humanity and diversity that I can apply to my own life. People should have enough altruism to be able to see the value of other people’s contributions. People who are self-centered will often not be able to smile with joy at others’ success. Rijn’s photograph also shows that Aristotle honors one of those who have set an example in poetry. It is rare. It is selflessness.
