Tell us why the text was chosen, comment on the suitability for use in class, and tell us the grade for which it would be useful. Answer the following questions. Is it appropriate language for your students’ level? • Is the length of the material appropriate? • Would your pupils find the subject engaging? • Is it a sort of literature they may be required to read outside of class?
Because it’s easy for English-speaking students to comprehend, I chose this book. This book is suitable for classroom use because it meets the students’ interest. The book’s length is ideal for classroom use, keeping students engaged and interested throughout. Because it is written in basic English, this book is appropriate for pre-intermediate English learners. The language is suitable for children’s level as it is both formal and easily understood. Amazingly, students may be able to read this material in class, even though it is about exercise.
Lead-in: Describe how you will spark your students’ curiosity about the subject of the text.
To spark learners’ interest, I emphasize its relevance in their daily lives. Teaching is my job. I will try to help students apply the information to their daily lives. It increases their chances of understanding my explanation. A competition or a sport may also be an option to keep kids interested throughout the session. You can also change the environment by giving the children a 10 minute break to read and engage them in an outside activity. This helps keep their attention.
