In every area of our lives, leadership is vital. In order to achieve desired goals and objectives in life, individuals need role models. Leadership is only the act of exerting a social influence that optimizes the efforts of others and the particular achievements toward reaching an organization’s objective (Haraida & Blass, 2019). Important to emphasize that leadership isn’t about positions or titles, it is about how people impact others. An individual can be an important point of influence for society no matter how senior they are or what their personal qualities may be. In a variety of situations and circumstances, people refer to other individuals as “born leaders”. The idea is that some individuals possess the inherent ability to manage and influence groups to achieve a common goal. This can be done without any formal training. Leaders can influence social activities and reach community goals.
Martin Luther is a great leader with natural leadership skills. Martin Luther led a campaign to end racial discrimination-based social injustices within his community. Martin Luther is regarded as one the greatest reformers of his time and advocates for social justice within the society (Chhotray, et al. 2017). Martin Luther is a religious leader who demonstrated influence through his communication skills, interpersonal relationships, strong leadership and ability to lead large groups to end racial prejudice. Nelson Mandela was another important leader. Mandela is often considered one of Africa’s most important political figures. Mandela was an important leader in the African independence movement. Mandela was a leader of the African independence movement. He also helped to abolish the apartheid system in South Africa. Barrack Obama has been one of the most prominent international leaders in recent times (Haraida & Blass, 2019). Obama’s impact within society enabled him to transcend national and race boundaries and became America’s first revolutionary president. These three leaders displayed distinct leadership skills that helped them achieve their goals and objectives.
Barack Obama ranks among my most respected leaders. Obama is a good leader because he was able to overcome existing hurdles of ethnicity, nationality, and race to become president of a white supremacist-dominated country. Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther helped ensure that all races had their place in society. Barrack Obama proved that everyone can be treated with the same respect as whites. Obama also was a leader that faced difficult issues head-on (Gillespie 2019, 2019). After the 2008 financial crisis, Obama assumed office and was given the task of rebuilding America. This was an era that Obama successfully guided.
Barrack Obama’s achievement as President of the United States of America is due to many qualities. He was an excellent communicator at first.
