Clothing is bought for many reasons. Fashion industry has been forced to develop new styles in response to the rising consumer society. However, the environmental impact of fast fashion clothes is significant. To ensure sustainability in production and disposal, many institutions use recycling and reuse. For large profits, fast fashion businesses capitalize on American culture of consumerism to create high-end products.
Select three items
These garments come from three different brands. The brands are Vietnam-made GAP sweaters, Moroccan Zara Man jackets, and Bangladesh-made H&M sweaters.
Material used
They are made of cotton, polyester and elastane in various amounts. GAP sweater for example was made of 77% cotton (14% polyester) and 9% recyclable polyester. H.M. fabric consisted of 91% cotton and 8% polyester with 1% elastane. Zara Man jacket made entirely from cotton.
Care directions
There are several care tips for garments to help consumers maintain their durability and quality. H.M. recommends that the garments be washed in water at a temperature of 40 degrees or less. It was also recommended that the garments not be bleached or tumble dried. Ironing garments is possible for the near user. However, the temperature shouldn’t exceed forty degrees. Further instructions on H.M. sweetener state that you can use any solvent except tetrachlorethylene.
Increase frequency
Most of the clothes shown survived for more than a year. I often wear clothing from Zara Man and H&M since they are stylish. Every other week I don the Zara Men Jacket, regardless of whether I am at school or out with friends. H.M.’s attire reflects my attractiveness especially when I go on dates or attend picnics. GAP sweaters can be too hot and uncomfortably warm in warmer weather. GAP sweaters are very useful, especially in winter where temperatures drop below freezing. It was about a month since I last used H.M. sugarener at a family picnic. The last time I used the GAP swatter for warmth was December last year. While attending classes, last week I was greeted by the Zara Man.
I would purchase the Zara and GAP brands again, but I would rethink purchasing the H&M brand. GAP sweater would be my choice, as it is warm and stylish throughout winter. In the months that have the lowest temperatures, it is essential to wear substantial clothing. GAP clothing helped me to overcome pneumonia and other illnesses caused by cold exposure, like pneumonia. I like the sweater’s simple design and absence of text. Zara clothing is trendy, so I’d also buy it.
