Which positive beliefs do you hold dear?
What were some instances in your life when you had positive delusions about yourself? There were times in my life where I believed that my abilities were superior. In my youth, for example, I believed in my athletic skills and was confident. I thought I was the best in any sport that I played and there was no way to beat me. However, I have had moments where my performance was inferior to those around me. Despite my mistakes, I always believed I could become a better athlete. I have been motivated by this positive phantasm to work hard.
Are you looking for Future Friends? There was a time in my adult life when my future friends were a distant dream. My belief has always been that I would have many friends who were also extraordinary people. My belief was that the bonds we would make were very strong and lasting. But, it wasn’t always so. Some of my Future Friends were rude and inconsiderate, while other friends didn’t seem to care much about me. However, I love spending time together, even though sometimes our relationships can be difficult. This is a reminder to friendships that they can change over time.
