Its goal is to devise and implement marketing strategies that increase consumer happiness and access. This team includes five individuals with different backgrounds, including a salesperson, marketing professional and business analyst. Sales specialists will develop strategies to expand the customer base and plan for strong product presence. They also need to prepare actions and plans that help achieve sales goals. To enable analysis, the sales manager also collects pertinent sales data. The marketer will be responsible for devising promotional and positioning strategies, producing advertisements, performing consumer surveys, mapping out the target market, developing pricing strategies, and generating new leads (Bason & Austin, 2019). The business analyst uses business analytics to analyze the data and help the team make informed decisions. Business analysts will assess the impact of marketing and offer data-driven advice to team leaders and members. In order to support the team with developing realistic marketing plans, the financial consultant can provide financial advice, including financial planning and forecasting. Social scientists will engage with clients to monitor and understand market behavior. The team will be able to identify market niches and create perfect products, as well as develop effective marketing strategies.
Each member of the team will require different skills to ensure efficient operation. Sales experts will require exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to help clients engage, solve problems and increase sales. To drive digital marketing success, the marketing specialist must have a strong understanding of market trends and be technologically proficient to understand how to create promotions that meet consumers’ needs (Christian et. al., 2017). Business analysts will need to be able to analyze large amounts of data and offer trustworthy recommendations. The team will need financial specialists to provide viable advice. They must have excellent coordination and financial knowledge. Sociologists will require superior communication and humanistic skills due to their focus on client interaction. Each member of the team must have collaboration skills to encourage objective participation.
Team leaders should establish an environment that encourages team interaction and open communication. Open communication improves creativity, innovation and feedback while also decreasing conflict and encouraging interpersonal connections. To increase concentration, the leader of the group may develop SMART objectives. SMART objectives enable each team member to comprehend their duties, performance goals, and expectations (Stewart & Carter, 2017). Last, an incentive program should be developed that rewards members for achieving short-term goals. Recognition and other incentive programs will motivate employees to offer outstanding service.
