Movie Steve Jobs portrays Steve Jobs’ life as co-founder and CEO of Apple. It shows Steve Jobs’s life from his college graduation to his pursuit of the goal of starting an IT company. Job’s role in managing corporate business operations and personal life is the focus of this film. The film also encourages entrepreneurs looking to start their own businesses. Video shows how ethical dilemmas and moral judgements can impact the professional and private lives of decision-makers.
It is here that the movie first shows a business idea. The entrepreneurial process is a key part of any firm’s creation and transformation into a real business. Entrepreneurial creativity is required as well as originality. Steve Jobs was an example of this. He built a range of institutions that included Apple and Next Computer. Each one is tailored for modern needs. This video also demonstrates the importance of business principles of project management. In this case, a group manages the execution of an event or process of development (Steve Jobs 2015). Jobs has to provide a defective Apple Macintosh 128k because of poor project management. Jobs then threatens to take away the engineer’s presentation credits, creating a new conflict and ethical issue. The film ends with the demonstration of democratic leadership when Steve Jobs is fired by Apple’s board (Steve Jobs 2015). The majority vote governs the entire process, not any particular belief. Jobs’ failure to balance his work life with business commitments is the final ethical issue highlighted by the movie. Job refuses Julie because of public pressure and his professional image. He fights to prove that Lisa isn’t his daughter.
The character makes two ethical judgments in different contexts. The first was Steve Jobs’s unprofessional behavior of threatening his coworker for a poor presentation. Steve Jobs threatened to undermine the ethical requirement that workers be given credit. Jobs then indulges in unethical behaviour by allowing his personal life interfere with his professional performance. These actions are in direct violation of the nonmaleficence principle (Barrowman, 2020). Jobs does the same thing to his girlfriend and coworker in order for his own gain. The moral dilemma of faithfulness in many cases is clearly illustrated by the story. Fideliity is the ability to show commitment and loyalty towards all stakeholders within the business (Barrowman 2020). Jobs is unable to trust or be loyal with the individuals that he comes in contact with. This includes his girlfriend, and later his engineer.
