This argument uses a deductive reasoning style in which the conclusion can be derived directly from the premises. Gun regulation arguments are based upon many premises. This leads to a type of deductive reasoning which uses multiple premises to support a conclusion. It is based on the idea that firearms and weapons should be allowed for self defense or for militias entrusted to defend the community. (Sangerkatz and Bui 2017). Supreme Court arguments have shown that even though gun ownership is an authorized right and provision in law, residents can be given severe safeguards through policy development to prevent the abuse of guns.
