BUSH V. GORE
- Bush won the election vote due to swing of Florida which gave him 25 votes, regardless of whether he was the sole resident of the state at 2000 votes.

- Gore asked for a recount, which was granted. However, the Supreme Court docket overturned the decision and gave Bush the presidency.
- This was argued by many as implying that Florida’s votes didn’t count because the court docket could not afford to recount.
