A nursing course called “The Role and Practice of BSN Nursing in Promoting Community Health” focuses on the practical and theoretical development of nurses. A community nurse must demonstrate the ability to solve problems and provide solutions for those who may have an impact on the quality of health in the area. These talents may include communication, psychomotor and interpersonal skills, as well as clinical reasoning, critical thinking, and clinical reasoning. But they need to be familiar with the procedures and techniques for nursing operations, such as intravenous fluid exchange and catheter insertion. When nursing education is concerned, especially when it comes to the role that nurses should have in improving health in communities, interventions and methods must be developed. The existing curriculum does not include the specific strategy or interventions instructors could use to improve interactive learning with students during practical engagements. This curriculum proposal creates a nursing education intervention and evaluation that uses video capture technology. Video capture technology makes use of the ever-expanding technology available to create sustainable ways for students to improve their practical skills. This curriculum proposes a new way to integrate video capture technology and current technologies. This study evaluates the reliability of sources supporting the debut of this technology. A need gap analysis is also conducted in order to identify the technological gaps that should be addressed. This curriculum proposal will provide a framework for the development and implementation of the theory of change.
Public health’s essential component is community health. It focuses on improving health outcomes by integrating nursing knowledge and skills into the delivery of services. Goodman, et.al. 2014, community health refers to all services that are provided for the public, especially outside of hospitals or clinics. The nurses are crucial in helping to promote optimal health outcomes and the creation of them. Nursing skills are required to be effective in communication and theoretical knowledge. They also need to have a good understanding of how the various situations may play out. It is important that nursing education aims to produce a competent practitioner who can handle the complexity of healthcare administration. Nursing education should include learning methods and interaction measures that allow students to receive the appropriate support from their instructors to create learning opportunities that are relevant to community situations.
